Vorobyovitsa is a village in the Vohomsky district of the Kostroma region . The administrative center of the Vorobyovitsky rural settlement . The village is located in the north of the Vohomsky district, 40 kilometers northwest of the district center on the Vokhma river.

Content
History
It was founded in 1949 . The princes Odoevsky artels of loggers sent here. Collective farmers also participated in logging. One of these forest sites (a hut and several houses) was organized on the right bank of the Vokhma River near the Vorobyovitsa River, from 1925 to the 30s. Harvested wood in rafts was rafted down to Kozmodemyansk , and sometimes even to Astrakhan itself.
In 1929, the Vokhomsky Lestrankhoz enterprise was organized in the village. In 1936–37, 1,110 people and 2,567 carriages with horses were sent from the collective farms of the district for logging. In order to increase transportation, bulk ice roads, the so-called “ice cubes,” were built. Later, forests began to be rafted along the river.
In the 60s, a narrow gauge railway was built in the village, which allowed to increase the supply and transportation of wood. A number of residents of the village for shock work were awarded: Order of Labor Glory, Order of the Red Banner (Kulakov Vitaly Petrovich, Shalagin Anatoly Alexandrovich)
