Lyutki [1] [2] ( lat. Lestidae ) is a small family of dragonflies from the suborder of Equidae . Representatives are cosmopolitans . The family is divided into two subfamilies: Lestinae and Sympecmatinae.

Description
Dragonflies are small in size, have a thin elongated body. Species from the subfamily Lestinae rest with wings partially open, and from the subfamily Sympecmatinae with folded wings.
Reproduction
With the help of an ovipositor, female flute eggs lay eggs in the stiff stems of coastal plants: sedge , reeds , cattail, and even in the branches of trees and shrubs [3] .
