Biography
Constance was the daughter of Portuguese King Dinis the Farmer and his wife, Isabella Saint . Already in 1291 , Dinis concluded an agreement with the Castilian king Sancho the Bold , according to which Constance was to become the wife of the Castilian infante Ferdinand . Subsequently, this condition was repeatedly confirmed, and in 1302 a wedding was played in Valladolid .

In 1312 , Ferdinand died, and Constance took part in the struggle for regency with his son. However, she did not stay long with her Queen Mother and died a year after her husband.
