Scientific work
In 1968, V. L. Voeikov graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University. MV Lomonosov with honors in the specialty "Biophysics". After 3 years in 1971, he successfully received a candidate of biological sciences in the same place. From 1971 to 1975 he worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (named after M.M. Shemyakin and Yu. A. Ovchinnikov) (Moscow) and since 1974 - assistant professor of bioorganic chemistry at the Biological Faculty of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov. From 1978 to 1979, he performed research at the Department of Biochemistry and Medicine, Duke University, North Corolina, USA. From 1974 to 2003 - associate professor, and from 2003 to the present - professor, deputy. Head of the Department of Bioorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Biology, Moscow State University M.V. Lomonosov.
In 2003, he defended a doctoral dissertation at the Moscow State University "Regulatory function of reactive oxygen species in blood and in aqueous model systems" in the specialties of Physiology and Biophysics.
V.L. Voeikov supports and continues the ideas of such scientists as Erwin Bauer , Alexander Gurvich , Albert Saint-Gyordi , Alexander Chizhevsky , Simon Schnol , constantly collaborates with J. Pollack (University of Washington, Seattle, USA), M. Chaplin (Professor of Applied Science, London South Bank University, UK).
The main areas of work of the Biophotonics Laboratory of Moscow State University, headed by V. L. Voeikov:
- Model photobiochemical reactions, including the Gurvich reaction and the Maillard reaction ;
- work with living blood, aimed at identifying the nature of the emission of photons and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate , due to oxygen-dependent redox reactions;
- ultra-low concentrations of biochemically active substances and ultra-weak electromagnetic radiation, their effect on living systems;
- redox and vibrational processes in water. The work is aimed at confirming the ubiquitous role of water in biochemical and physiological processes and the critical importance of its deeper study with the prospect of discovering previously unknown laws of nature.
On the website of the DST Fund project, it is reported that V. L. Voeikov is a participant in them. [2] The materials of the said fund suggest, in particular, “download the radiation of the drug”, after which the “transmitted” radiation of the chemical drug is perceived by the disk located in the user's computer. As a result of the action of “radiation” on the disk, the distribution of electrons on its surface changes. As a result, the disk becomes a source of the same super-weak radiation as a chemical preparation. " [3]
Publications
V. L. Voeikov is the author of more than 250 articles published both in Russia and in foreign scientific journals. He also owns several textbooks and 20 patents for inventions. Annually takes part in dozens of scientific conferences and symposia in Russia and abroad.
Participation in TV projects
Vladimir Leonidovich Voeikov repeatedly took part in television programs. The largest project with his participation is the pseudo-scientific [4] film of the Rossiya television company, The Great Secret of Water . [1] , [2] . Also in 2003, he was invited to the transfer of Alexander Gordon " Gordon ".
