Having graduated from the medical faculty of the Imperial Kharkov University with the rank of doctor of the 3rd department in 1829 as a doctor in the Black Sea Fleet, in the 34th naval crew, Zakrevsky sailed on ships for 12 years and during this time wrote a number of interesting essays from the life of the Black Sea Fleet and his activities.
In 1861 - 1865 in the “ Marine Collection ” fragments of the book of memoirs of Zakrevsky “Notes by the Marine Service Doctor” were published on the history of Sevastopol and the Black Sea Fleet at the turn of the 1820-30s: “Sevastopol in 1830-1831” (“Marine Collection”, 1861 No. 9, 10, 1862 , No. 3, 11, 1863 , No. 2, 3); "The ship" Erivan "in 1829"; “Admiral A. S. Greig”, “On the Shore in Sevastopol”, 1830, “Frigate Standart”, 1830, “Black Sea Fleet in the Strait of Constantinople”, 1833, “Ship John Chrysostom”, 1833, - a total of 13 articles.
He was buried in the cemetery at Vladimir Cathedral in Tauric Chersonesos . [2]
