Club career

Luis began his football career in his hometown at Sintrans , then he played in many Portuguese and foreign clubs: Portimonensee , Nacional , Gil Vicente , Braga , Dynamo Moscow, Sporting in Lisbon , Estrela from the city of Amador , Anorthosis , Boavista .

Perhaps the peak of his career came at the time of playing for " Sporting " . The home win over Benfica in the 2005/06 season with a score of 2: 1 stands out. However, he was never a particularly valuable player (as evidenced by his performance for 9 different clubs) .

In 2007, the coach of the Anorthosis club, Temuri Ketsbaia, called Lawrieu “lazy, who is still on vacation,” and soon Luish left the club [2] .

In the end, after performing for a number of foreign clubs, in January 2008, Luis returned to Portugal, signing a contract with the Boavista club. In July 2008, he moved to the club where he started his career - “Portimonence”.

International Career

Luis played six games for the Portuguese national team, all in 2003, when he played for the Gil Vicente club. The first time he went out for the national team on February 12 in a friendly match, in which the Portuguese national team lost to the Italian national team 0: 2. The last time he played for the national team on June 10 was in a friendly match with the national team of Bolivia (the Portuguese national team won 4-0).
