"Stand My Ground " is the first single of the symphonic metal band Within Temptation from the album The Silent Force . The song entered the top 10 charts of the Netherlands, Belgium and Finland, and also became the title theme of the trailer for the film β Blood and Chocolate β.

Video
The plot of the video clip Sharon den Adele learns that the world will be destroyed during a giant flood. However, Sharon and other members of the group are being rescued by boat.
All the scenes of the clip were shot live, with the exception of the buildings of the city created on the computer. The history of filming the video was included in the DVD single.
