Egorievskoe rural village is a municipality in the Belsky district of the Tver region .

The center of the settlement is the village of Yegorye .

It was founded in 2005 and included the territories of Gribanovsky and parts of the Yegoryevsky rural districts.

Geographic data

Total area: 297.4 km²
Location: southeastern Belsky district
- Borders:
  - in the north - with the Prigorodniy joint venture
  - in the east - with Verkhovsky joint venture
  - in the south - with the Smolensk region , Sychevsky , Novoduginsky and Kholm-Zhirkovsky districts
  - in the west - with the Kavelshchinsky joint venture

The main rivers are the Obsha , Uzha.

History

In the 12-14 centuries, the territory of the settlement was part of the Smolensk Grand Duchy . Since 1355, it has been part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania , after the final accession to the Russian state in 1654, in the Smolensk Voivodeship.
Since the XVIII century, the territory of the settlement was:

In the now defunct village of Milovidovo, the Hero of the Soviet Union Kondraty Vasilyevich Bilyutin was born.
