Creativity
- The sculptor’s main work is the Architectural and Spatial Complex “To the Heroes of the Eltigen Landing” in the Hero City of Kerch (1966-1985). The Obelisk Sail, being a work of art, reveals the spiritual content of the 1943 event on Eltigen. The sail became a symbol of the eternity of the military glory of the Russians, who began the liberation of the South of Russia from Nazi invaders. This monument, which has no analogues in its plastic expression of the heroism of Soviet soldiers, is called the "model of the synthesis of architecture and sculpture." A flying plastic form in the form of a “sail” weighing 2,000 tons per 10 m² of support with an area (in plan) of 450 m² is able to withstand hurricane wind loads. The author found a unique solution, which the engineers who blew the model in the wind tunnel evaluated as “the airplane wing is the other way around”: the rarefaction force arising under the Sail in a hurricane wind “presses the shape to the ground”. The monument "calmly" withstands storms in the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait, on the banks of which it is located.
- In Moscow, L.V. Tazba created: a monument to N.A. Semashko on B. Pirogovskaya St. (1969).
