History
The coat of arms of the city of Krasnokamensk and Krasnokamensky district was approved by the decision of the Duma of the district No. 45 of June 15, 2000 .
According to the results of the competition, the sketch of designer V. M. Trukhina was recognized as the best.
Emblem Description
1) Krasnokamensk - the word denotes the name of the city, the district center.
2) Green - symbolizes the location of the area on the state border, the fertile steppe of the Argun.
3) Yellow color - symbolizes the main activity of the region's agriculture - grain production.
4) The sun - symbolizes the sunny Transbaikalia and fertility.
5) Blue color - symbolizes a transparent, clear sky and the river Argun.
6) Red color - symbolizes the activity of the town-forming enterprise of JSC PIMCU - mining of uranium ore.
7) 1968 - the year of formation of the city of Krasnokamensk.
8) Atom sign - symbolizes the affiliation of the city-forming enterprise to the nuclear industry.
