Current State
In 2017, there are 15 streets in Pearl [20] ; for 2009, according to the village council, the village occupied an area of 120 hectares in which, in 460 yards, there were more than 1.1 thousand people [18] . The village has an average comprehensive school-kindergarten [21] , FAP, House of Culture [22] , the Russian Post Office [23] , the Village House of Culture [24] , branch library No. 7 [25] . Since 2001, a sorting test station (a fruit state section) has been operating in the Pearl in the “elevated chestnut steppe zone” [26] , the church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker [27] . The pearl is connected by bus service with Simferopol , the regional center and the neighboring settlements [28] .
Geography
Pearl is a village in the south of the district, near the border with the Belogorsk district , on the left bank of the Biyuk-Karasu river, considered the northernmost village in the valley of the Inland ridge of the Crimean Mountains (the steppe zone begins below the river), the height of the village center above sea level - 65 m [30] . Neighboring villages: Foam 1.5 km to the south, Strepetovo 3 km to the west, Garden village 1.5 km to the north and Prirechnoye 3.5 km to the east. The distance to the district center is about 24 kilometers (along the highway) [31] , and the nearest railway station is Nizhnegorskaya (on the Dzhankoy - Feodosiya line ). The transport communication is carried out on the 35N-378 highway from the Nizhnegorsky-Belogorsk highway through Zhemchuzhina to the Nizhnegorsky-Belogorsk highway [32] (according to the Ukrainian classification - C-0-10922 [33] ).
History
For the first time Choty is mentioned in the Cameral Description of Crimea ... 1784, judging by which, in the last period of the Crimean Khanate, Chota entered the Karasubazar Kadylyk of Karasbazar kaimakanstvo [34] . After the annexation of the Crimea to Russia (8) on April 19, 1783 [35] , (8) on February 19, 1784, by the decree of Catherine II the senate , the Tauride region was formed in the territory of the former Crimean Khanate and the village was assigned to the Simferopol district [36] . After the Pavlovian reforms, from 1796 to 1802, it was part of Akmechetsky district of Novorossiysk province [37] . According to the new administrative division, after the creation of October 8 (20), 1802 in the Tauride province [38] , Choty was incorporated into the Tabulda parish of the Simferopol district.
According to the Vedomosti about all the villages in the Simferopol district consisting of the testimony in which the volosts are as many courtyards and souls ... dated October 9, 1805 , in the village of Chota there were 35 courtyards and 152 inhabitants, exclusively of the Crimean Tatars [10] . On the military topographic map of Major General S. A. Mukhin of 1817, the village of Chot is marked with 35 yards [39] . After the reform of the volost division of 1829, Chota , according to the “Gazette of the state-owned volosts of the Tauride Gubernia of 1829” , was attributed to the Aytugan Volost (renamed from Tabuldyn) [40] . On the map of 1842, Chota is marked with the symbol “small village”, that is, less than 5 courtyards [41] .
In the 1860s, after the Zemstvo reform of Alexander II , the village was attributed to Zuiskaya volost . According to the “List of Populated Places of Tavricheskaya Gubernia According to the Information of 1864,” compiled according to the results of the Eighth Revision of 1864, Chota is an owner’s farm with 14 yards and 20 inhabitants in an orchard at the Great Karasu river [11] . On the three-hole map of 1865–1876, Chota is marked with 24 yards [42] . In the future, until the end of the century Choty are not found in accessible sources.
After the territorial reform of 1890 [43] , the village was attributed to the Tabulda volost . According to "... the memorial book of the Tauride province for the year 1900" in the Tabulda parish was listed Choty's economy without residents [44] . According to the Statistical directory of Tavricheskaya province. Part II. Statistical essay, release of the sixth Simferopol district, 1915 , on Choty Polyushkina farm (near Novo-Nikolaevka village) of the Tabulda volost of Simferopol district there were 4 yards with the Russian population without registered residents, but with 30 “outsiders”. Also recorded is the German economy Chota (Rothgolz and Lustiha) with one yard without a population [12] .
The modern village was founded in 1920 as a state farm and stud farm, on the basis of the nationalized estate of Lustikh [18] . By the decision of Krymrevkoma number 206 "On the change of administrative borders" dated January 8, 1921 [45] , the volost system was abolished and the village became part of Karasubazar district of Karasubazar district [46] , and in 1922 the counties were called districts [47] . On October 11, 1923, according to the resolution of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee, the administrative division of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was amended, as a result of which the Karasubazar district became the main administrative unit [48] and the village was included in its composition. According to the List of settlements of the Crimean ASSR at the All-Union Census on December 17, 1926 , at Chotty State Farm (State Plant), the Novo-Tsaritsyn Village Council of the Karasubazar District had 53 yards, all peasant, the population was 116 people, including 78 Russians, 17 Ukrainians, 1 Tatar , 1 Armenian, 1 Bulgarian, 18 are recorded in the “Others” column, the Russian school operated [14] . By the Decree of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee “On the reorganization of the network of districts of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic” of October 30, 1930, the Seitler district was created [49] (according to other sources on September 15, 1931 [48] ) and the state farm was transferred to its structure. As a state farm, Chota is also indicated on the kilometer map of the General Staff of the Red Army in 1941 [50] .
After the liberation of the Crimea from the fascists, on August 12, 1944, Resolution No. GOKO-6372c was adopted “On the resettlement of collective farmers to the Crimea areas” [51] and in September 1944 the first new settlers (320 families) from the Tambov region arrived in the area, and in early 1950 the second wave of immigrants from various regions of Ukraine followed [52] . From June 25, 1946 Choty as part of the Crimean Region of the RSFSR [53] . By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of May 18, 1948, the locality of the Choty state farm was renamed Pearl [54] . On April 26, 1954, the Crimean Region was transferred from the RSFSR to the Ukrainian SSR [55] . The village council was formed in the period from 1968, when Pearl was still a part of the Garden Village Council [56] , until 1977, when the Pearl Village Council already existed [57] . According to the 1989 census , 1,137 people lived in the village [16] . From March 21, 2014 - as part of the Republic of Crimea of Russia [58] .
