Actinella armitageana (lat.) - terrestrial gastropod mollusk of the order pulmonary snails of the family Hygromiidae [1] [2] . Its natural habitat is moderate meadows. This species is endemic to Portugal , lives on the island of Madeira and is under threat of habitat loss due to overgrazing and the resulting consequences: soil erosion and reduction in the number of plants [3] .
