CyberBunker is a former military nuclear bunker that is currently used as a data center [1] .
During the Cold War, NATO initiates the creation of secret fortified structures throughout Western Europe . In 1955, a large command bunker was built outside the small town of Kloeting , in the south of the Netherlands . It was designed to stay 72 people in the event of a nuclear explosion and was used as a NATO radio station for relaying signals , as well as for local espionage and counterintelligence . The facility consists of tunnels and operator rooms located on four levels, one located on the surface and designed for degassing, the other three underground. The outer walls are made of reinforced concrete 5 meters thick to withstand a nuclear explosion with a capacity of 20 megatons at a distance of 5 kilometers. All that is visible from the main entrance is a parking lot and a remote-controlled gate with a video surveillance camera .
In 1996, NATO decommissioned the facility, all equipment was removed. The bunker was sold in 1996 and in 1998 became a data center called CyberBunker.
