BBC One - British public information and entertainment television channel ; BBC's flagship television station, broadcast in the UK , Isle of Man and Channel Islands . Launched on November 2, 1936 as the BBC Television Service, becoming the world's first regular television broadcast service with a high level of screen resolution. In 1960, it was renamed BBC TV and broadcast under this name until the launch of the brotherly channel BBC2 in 1964 , after which it became known as BBC1. History
Launched on medium waves on August 22, 1932 as the BBC Television Service , on October 1, 1936, BBC One began broadcasting on ultra-short waves .
On September 9, 1969, the Nationwide evening program began to air; on September 14, 1970, instead of the Main News program, the BBC Nine O'Clock News information program was launched.
On September 7, 1981, “The Midday News” was replaced by the News After Noon program, on January 17, 1983 the morning program “Breakfast Time” was launched, on October 24, 1983 “Nationwide” - “Sixty Minutes”, and on September 3, 1984 - BBC News at Six, October 27, 1986, The Midday News was replaced by BBC News at One, October 2, 1989 Breakfast Time was renamed Breakfast News.
On October 2, 2000, the Breakfast News was renamed the BBC Breakfast on October 16, 2000. The BBC Nine O'Clock News was replaced by the BBC News at Ten news program.
