1965 Football League Cup Final

The 1965 Football League Cup Final consisted of two matches. The match was the completion of the 5th Football League Cup . In the final, the London club Chelsea and Leicester City met. The first match was held March 15, 1965 in London at the Stamford Bridge Stadium, in which Chelsea won with a score of 3: 2. The second match was held on April 5, 1965 at the Philbert Street Stadium in Leicester , where the teams tied 0-0 and Chelsea won the Football League Cup for the first time.
