Biography

Born on June 15, 1922 in the Tatsin farm of the Kamensky (now Krasnosulinsky ) district of the Rostov Region in a family of a hereditary miner. Russian

In 1939 , after graduating from Chicherin High School, he went to work at the mine. He was a measurer of mine workings, then an assistant mine surveyor of mine 10 “ Gukovugol ”.

In the fall of 1939 he was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. Member of the Great Patriotic War from the first days. He served in topographic divisions at artillery units, participated in the defense of Moscow. In 1942 he was shell-shocked, and after the hospital he was transferred to a reserve regiment. After demobilization in May 1945 he returned home.

He continued to work at coal enterprises in the East Donbass , returned home, was a local mine surveyor at the Uglerod mine in the city of Gukovo . In 1949, he externally graduated from the mining technical college, Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute ( 1953 , with honors) and received mining engineer diplomas in the specialty “Development of reservoir deposits”.

He was assigned the position of chief engineer of mine No. 35 of the Boguraevugol Trust. The young engineer has established himself as a technically competent specialist, a talented organizer of the engineering service. Two years later, he was appointed head of the Yugo-Zapadnaya mine No. 3 of the Donetskugol Trust. In the future - technical director, mine head, chief engineer of the Nesvetayanthracit trust, chief engineer and manager of the Gukovugol trust ( 1963 - 1968 ).

In 1965 - 1968 - head of the coal industry department of the Rostov regional committee of the CPSU.

In June 1968, I.D. the Messenger led one of the country's largest coal associations - the Rostovugol plant. In April 1975, the Rostovugol coal production association was created on the basis of the plant.

I.D. Messenger made a great personal contribution to mining science. He was actively engaged in scientific activities. In 1969 he defended his thesis, in 1982 - a doctorate, and he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences. He has published 68 author's scientific works and 5 inventions.

From 1986 to the end of his life, I. D. Poselny headed the Shakhty branch of the Institute for Advanced Studies of senior employees and specialists of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

He lived in the city of Mines . He died on February 4, 2005 . [one]

Memory

Concern for miners and their families occupied no less place in the activities of I.D. the Messenger than production problems. With his name, residents of the cities of Shakhty, Novoshakhtinsk and villages of the Sholokhov coal region connect the bulk of the constructed residential quarters, kindergartens, schools, hospitals, clubs, sports facilities, parks and squares. Those who lived in coal towns and villages in the 1960-1980s remember a worthy life and confidence in the future. Permanent deputy of the city and regional Councils, the head of the city-forming enterprise, Ivan Dmitrievich made a huge contribution to the socio-economic development of the coal region of the Rostov region.
