Biography

She was born on September 17, 1917 in the village of Smagleyevka (now Kantemirovsky District, Voronezh Region ) [1] in a peasant family. She graduated from a rural school.

In 1936, she came to work at the mine β€œXX years of the Red Army” in the city of Shakhty [2] as a horse-drawn driver - she carried coal under the ground on horseback.

With the outbreak of World War II, women and old men replaced the men who had gone to the front. Nadezhda Ivanovna began to work as a bulk collector, showing an example of heroic and selfless work. For a 12-hour shift, manually threw 30 tons of coal with a plan of 3.2 tons. It was a truly unthinkable load, which not every man could bear. After the liberation of the territory, she worked on the restoration of destroyed mines.

After the war, she continued to work in the mines of the city of Mines as a foreman of the haulers, and took an active part in public work. She graduated from the mining technical school, worked as a master [2] .

In the 1960s, N.I. Grigorenko retired. She lived in the city of Mines . She died on October 18, 2004 .
