Alpine capitate , or Alpine cephalaria ( lat. Cephalaria alpina ) - a species of plants of the genus capitate ( Cephalaria ) of the family Honeysuckle ( Caprifoliaceae ).

Content
DescriptionPerennial plant, reaching a height of 60 to 100 cm. The stem and underside of the leaves are covered with thick hairs.
Flowers are collected in ball inflorescences. Bracts 6-7 mm long and 3.5 to 4 mm wide. The flowering period lasts from July to September.
RangeIt is found in the western and southern parts of the Alps, in the Apennines. In the east comes to Arlberg .
Application and useIt is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and flower beds.
