View from the Rogozhskaya Zastava
It was named at the end of the 19th century according to people who came here from the village of Gzhel near Moscow, a center for the production of porcelain with a characteristic blue pattern. The former name is Nameless Lane.
Gzhelsky lane starts from Andronyevsky passage and Volochaevskaya street, passes east, Pryamikova street adjoins to its right, beyond which the lane passes through the territory of the enterprise and the passage through it is blocked. It ends on the street Zolotorozhsky Val.
