Biography
Born on April 23, 1923 in the village of Urvanka, Epifansky district, Tula province, in the family of a peasant . Russian. He graduated from 7 classes. He worked as a turner in the Stalinogorsk depot of the Tula region.
During the Great Patriotic War
With the beginning of World War II, he was evacuated for a short time with equipment in the eastern regions of the USSR, then returned to his native place. Participated in the restoration of the depot and machine park [2] .
In May 1942, a Komsomol member M. G. Sabanin drafted into the Red Army . After several months in the training unit, sent to the front.
On September 5, 1944, the senior reconnaissance officer of the mortar battalion of the 1st Separate Guards Motorized Infantry Brigade of the 1st Guards Tank Corps of the 65th Army of the 1st Byelorussian Guard Front Sergeant Major M. Sabanin under the settlement of Karnovsk (12 km north of Serock , Poland ) I found two enemy artillery batteries and corrected the mortar fire from which the batteries were covered from the observation point .

In the post-war years
In 1946, demobilized from the army. He lived in the city of Stalinogorsk , where he worked as a mechanic, foreman, assistant site manager at the mine number 26.
May 31, 1952 died in an explosion at mine number 26.

The name of M. G. Sabanin is immortalized in the Alley of Heroes ( Moskovskaya Street ) of the city of Novomoskovsk.
