Kharchinsky is an extinct shield volcano in Kamchatka . Located on the continuation of the Kharchi group of volcanoes. The volcano consists of several shield cones and domes, merged into a single massif. The caldera with a diameter of 935 m resembles a telephone in shape. On the edge of the caldera is one of the domes of the Kharchinsky volcano. On the southern slope, the volcano connects with the Zarechny volcano, Lake Kurazhie adjoins the volcano from the east, and Lake Kharchinskoe from the north. The last eruption dates from the Holocene. Geysers and thermal springs are active.

On August 6, 1973, at 9:00 a magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck the volcano.
