Fell on November 16, 1492 near the village of Ensisheim, in the Upper Rhine , modern France . The fall was captured by numerous eyewitnesses, Albrecht Durer painted a color sketch of the event. Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I traveled to the site of the fall.
