Biography
From early childhood, she was brought up by her stepfather - historian and lawyer Yakov Vladimirovich Staroselsky (1899-1948), who adopted her [1] . Graduated from the Institute of Fine Chemical Technology. Lomonosov (1960). As a translator, published since 1963. Editor of the journal Foreign Literature . She led a seminar of young translators at the Polish Cultural Center. She spoke with articles on modern Polish literature.
Member of the Union of Writers of the USSR.

Stryikovsky , T. Ruzhevich , M. Hlasko , T. Novak , T. Konvitsky , R. Kapuschinsky , Fr. Mrozheka , Y. Glovatsky , Art. Khvina , Hannah Krall , E. Pilha , O. Tokarchuk and many others.
Recognition
Prize of the journal Foreign Literature (1986). Cavalier cross of the Order of Merit in front of the Republic of Poland . Prize of the Polish PEN Club . Transatlantic Prize of the Polish Book Institute (2008). Officer Cross of the Order of Merit to the Republic of Poland [2] (2014) and other awards.
