Sportivny - the island of the archipelago Severnaya Zemlya . Administratively it refers to the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenetsky District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory .

Located in the Laptev Sea in the central part of the archipelago in the southeastern part of Mikoyan Bay at a distance of about 1.4 kilometers from the coast of the Bolshevik Island near the mouth of the Ostantseva River . Three kilometers north of Sportivniy lies the island of Two Fellows .
It has an oval shape extending from the south-east to north-west about 950 meters long. The shores are flat and gentle. There are no significant elevations, the highest point of the island is only 6 meters.
