Surface water - water that flows or collects on the surface of the earth.
There are sea, lake, river, swamp and other waters.
Surface water is permanently or temporarily located in surface water bodies . The objects of surface water are: seas , lakes , rivers , swamps and other watercourses and reservoirs. There are salty and fresh water sushi. The study of surface water deals with hydrology , hydrochemistry .
The actual problem is the pollution of fresh and marine waters .
Surface water is opposed to groundwater .
