Peptization

Peptization - a term from colloid chemistry , means the splitting of aggregates that arose during the coagulation of dispersed systems into primary particles under the influence of a liquid medium (for example, water) or special substances - peptizers . Peptization is one of the methods for producing colloidal solutions ; it is used in technology for the preparation of highly dispersed suspensions of clays and other substances.
