Thymariodes areolaris is a fossil rider of the genus Thymariodes of the family Ichneumonidae . Described by the only find in Baltic amber from the Upper Eocene .

Description
Body length 5.5 mm, front wing length 4 mm. Body color is black. First 6 segments of antennae and clypeus red. The tibiae and tarsi are tan. The ovipositor is long.
