Jordanville ( Jordanville , English Jordanville ) - a village in the northwestern part of the city of Warren , Herkimer County , New York . Jordanville is located at the intersection of routes 18 and 155. The settlement on this site was founded earlier than 1791 .

It is famous for the fact that approximately one mile north of it is the Holy Trinity Monastery , which is the spiritual center of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia . The monastery has a theological seminary , a publishing house, an icon-painting workshop, a library and a cemetery. During the years of the Soviet Union, the Jordanville printing house was the largest publisher of spiritual and church literature in Russian.
Also in Jordanville, there is Gelston Castle ( Eng. Gelston Castle ), built in 1836 by Harriet Douglas Kruger and a public library .
