Story
Federica (in some Russian versions - Aurora /? /) - a beautiful young Italian woman with a little over 30 years old. Her father is an industrial tycoon who fled from Italy under the threat of terror from the Red Brigades . Due to the condition of the family, she is very rich and could lead an idle lifestyle, but she is trying to professionally engage in drama. Without thinking about the material, Federica can go into the world of her illusions and dreams. In childhood, these are long curls, ball gowns, later adventures in the most remote corners of the world, mysterious abductions and happy liberation. But reality is prosaic. Beloved father (Herlitska) is terminally ill, brother Aurelio (Wilson) and sister Bianca (Mastroianni) live by other ideals. A former friend (Podalaides) is persistently trying to restore a broken relationship, the current (Anglad), also hardly beloved, insists on getting married. Do they need her, or her condition? How to correlate money and love, money and death? Federica is in a moral search. Her spiritual choice (perhaps it is somewhat straightforward): wealth is not fault, but responsibility.

- The image of Federica for Valeria Bruni Tedeschi , also a girl from a wealthy family of an Italian industrialist, is largely autobiographical. In a certain way, this is emphasized by the fact that the role of the mother of the heroine of the film is played by the mother of Valeria - Marisa Bruni-Tedeschi [1] .
