Distribution and Ecology
The species range covers Azerbaijan and Iran .
It grows in shady mountain forests.
Botanical Description
Stem up to 50 cm high. Rhizome strong, forming shoots, cylindrical.
The leaves are all basal, unpaired pinnate-dissected, with one or two pairs of lobes or double-triple, planted with long, soon falling white or reddish hairs, bare at the end. At the base of the common leaf petiole , a few flakes sit, on the branches, the petiole is thickened and often seated with bearded hairs. The leaf lobes are first membranous, leathery at the end, with three to five veins, heart-shaped at the base, cartilaginous, serrated at the edge.
The flower arrow is single, less often two, thin, cylindrical. The flowers are pale, collected in an elongated, simple, sparse brush ; pedicels are glandular-hairy or glabrous, finally lengthening; bracts short, oblong, bare. Sepals and petals falling.
A box on a barely noticeable leg.
