Kelvulf I ( Eng. Ceolwulf I , died in 823 ) - King of Mercia , East Anglia and Kent (821-823), a descendant of King Penda 's brother, brother of Kenvulf .

Kelvulf I ascended the throne in 821 [1] , but already in 823 he was overthrown by Beornwulf [2] . Around this time, the Mercians made a large-scale march to Powys , but it is not known exactly who headed it — Kölwulf or Beornwulf.
