The Postal Union (original version - Postal Union [1] ; French ) is a journal that is the Russian version of the official periodical of the International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union (since 1878 - the Universal Postal Union ) in Bern and produced in the 1870s - 1880s in Kharkov . [2]

Content
History and Description
The Russian Empire was among the first states to form the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in 1874. The new organization, represented by its International Bureau, has begun publishing a print organ, L'Union postale . [3] In the first few years of publication (intermittently), the UPU official journal was published in Russian .
The magazine was published in monthly issues. Published in Kharkov under the editorship of K. G. Radchenko. [2]
Four volumes of this journal appeared in the Russian translation [2] :
- Volume I (dual, 1875 - 1876 ),
- Volume II (1877),
- Volume VIII (1883) and
- Volume IX ( 1884 ).
In addition, it is known that in 1904 the journal “Universal Postal Union” was also published in Russian. [four]
