Biography
Born in Algeria, then a French colony. His grandfather was a rabbi, and his father a communist. Father's name is Joseph Levy; mother's name is Quiz ben Hanin. Due to Jewish descent, he had problems getting an education under the Vichy government. He volunteered for aviation in 1944. He never concealed his Jewish origin and leftist views. He was a member of the Socialist Party of France (after the death of Francois Mitterrand he joined the Communist Party of France). The most famous role of Commissioner Navarro in Russia was, in fact, created specifically for him. In 2008 he completed cinematographic and political activities.
Personal life
Roger Anin is a relative of former French President Francois Mitterrand through his wife Daniel. Christine Goose-Renal (wife of Roger Anen) is a sister of Daniel Mitterrand. [1]
