Emblem Description
“In a scarlet (red) field, coiled and turned golden bear and sable , holding with their forepaws three silver small free overturned rafters, joined into an overturned rafter, accompanied by a golden fire above and a green, finely framed silver spruce below, growing on an included azure ( blue, blue) tip, laden with silver fish in the belt. "
Justification of Symbols
The coat of arms of the region is based on its natural resources, fur trade and fishing of the local indigenous population, as evidenced by the figures of spruce, bear, sable and fish. The animals turned in different directions symbolically reflect the fact that the Krasnoselkupsky district is located on the ancient land of Mangazee , which is the center of Russia (that is, they stand in the center and look around them). A multi-railing heraldic figure depicts a fragment of the Selkup ornament, showing its location in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
The red color of the field is a symbol of beauty and courage, and also speaks of the name of the area. The silver color in the coat of arms speaks of the vast northern expanses. Silver in heraldry is a symbol of simplicity, perfection, wisdom, nobility, peace and mutual cooperation. The wealth of the bowels of the earth - deposits of natural gas , symbolically displayed by the flame. The flame is also a symbol of the hearth and home. Gold is a symbol of strength, strength, generosity, wealth and dawn. Green spruce symbolizes the rich nature of the region, its forest. Green is also a symbol of hope, well-being and health. Blue color and fish show that the area is located on the banks of the northern rivers rich in fish. Blue color is a symbol of sincerity, honor, glory, devotion, truth and virtue. In the coat of arms of the Krasnoselkup region, the language of heraldic symbols and allegories harmoniously reflects its natural features and wealth, the main profile of the local population and national color. The emblem of the region is intentionally endowed with some similarities with the early symbols of Novgorod - the legendary cradle of Russian statehood and the center of ancient Russian liberties. This purely conventional heraldic analogy hints at Mangazeya as the “second Novgorod” - the seed of Russian power in Siberia.
The coat of arms was developed by the Union of Heraldists of Russia . Authors of the coat of arms of the region: Konstantin Mochenov (idea of a coat of arms, Khimki); Robert Malanichev (artist, Moscow).
The emblem was approved by decision No. 55 of the Meeting of the representatives of the Krasnoselkupsky District municipality dated December 1, 1999 and entered in the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation - No. 645.
