Angelika Neuner ( German: Angelika Neuner , December 23, 1969 , Innsbruck , Austria ) is an Austrian sleigh player who played for the Austrian national team from 1987 to 2002. She took part in four Olympic Winter Games, won silver at the 1992 Albertville Games, while she won the bronze medal at the 1998 Women's Games in Nagano . She ended her career as a professional athlete immediately after the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, at the opening ceremony of which she carried the banner of the national team.

Angelika Neuner is the owner of six World Cup awards; on her track record are two gold medals (mixed teams: 1996, 1997), one silver (mixed teams: 1993) and three bronze (single races: 1997; mixed teams: 1995, 2000). The athlete was twice awarded the bronze medals of the European Championship, in 1996 she took third place in the women's single races, in 2002 - as part of a mixed team. The best result at the World Cup was shown in the 1996-1997 season, rising in the overall standings to the second position.
Accounted for by the older sister of the no less famous sledgewoman Doris Neuner , who in this sport achieved the title of Olympic champion.
