Distribution
In Russia , two species are common. [2]
Description
Beetles of small and medium sizes; in length reach 7.5-10 mm. The body is convex, has a bronze or blue-green color. The eyes are convex, carved; head with eyes approximately the same width as the pronotum, or slightly wider than it. Antennae 11-segmented; in males they go a little beyond the middle of the elytra, and in females it is shorter. Claws are simple. [2]
Ecology
The development of pre-diagonal stages takes place in the dead wood of trees. [2]
