Description

The unification of the bishops of the two regions on an ongoing basis is the main governing body of the Catholic Church of the two countries. Expresses the unity of the bishops of England and Wales. Through this association, bishops develop a unified position regarding the form of presentation of the Gospel doctrine to Catholics.

Conference members meet twice a year to determine church policy at the state level. The conference is divided into committees overseeing specific issues. Weekly meetings are held annually after Catholic Easter and in November, usually at the Hinsley Hall in Leeds [1] .

Each bishop leads a committee of experts who oversee specific church issues. The committees are united into departments.
