The group was formed in autumn 2005 . From that moment, the composition of the group changed repeatedly until July 2008 , when the constant replacement of the drummer ceased. It was Anton Kubrak, who played along with Vyacheslav Brovko, the guitarist of Thin Red Thread, in the 7th Sky band in Kharkov. Experimenting with music and not limiting it to any particular style, in January 2008 the group recorded their first EP album “106”. The next trip to the studio took place in August to record the single “Funk”. With the advent of autumn, the number of concerts of the group increases. The group holds large and successful tours in Russia and the CIS.

In January 2009, TonkayaKrasnaya Thread began recording its first full-length album, work on which is completed only after 9 months. September 29 is the date of the online release of the album entitled “Soundtrack of My Life”. On the discs, the team’s debut album was released by ІншаМузика with the assistance of Moon Records.

In August 2010, the group released a live single, "Live At Rock Generation Fest", consisting of 3 songs new to the listener recorded on August 1, 2010 during a performance in Berdyansk at the Rock Generation Fest .

2011 in the history of the group was marked by the recording of new material for the second studio album. First, in September, the Internet single “True or False” was presented, which also included a new video for the song of the same name, and two months later, on November 11 , the group uploaded the second album, “Second Self,” which was presented at a recital in native Kharkov on November 20.

In the spring of 2013, due to creative differences, Evgeny Tyutyunnik announces his resignation from the group ^[1] . 05/19/2013 in Dnepropetrovsk the last concert was held with his participation.

In May 2015, the band announces the name of the new vocalist. It becomes Olya Verbetskaya. However, the group name changes to TKN .

March 14, 2016 TKN announces resignation from the group of Olya Verbetskaya.
