Mitsubishi Space Runner - compact van , produced from 1991 to 2002. The car was distinguished from the rest of the compact cars by the presence of permanent all-wheel drive (in some trim levels there was also a lock on the rear cross-axle differential), a sliding rear door and a rear seat on the slide. For the domestic market of Japan, RVR Sports Gear was also produced with increased ground clearance and an off-road body kit.

In Japan, the first generation was introduced as the RVR , in the US as the Mitsubishi Expo LRV, as long as exporters from Asia and Oceania used the original Japanese name. Space Runner was also sold by Chrysler under the names Dodge / Plymouth Colt Vista and Eagle Summit Wagon in North America. [one]
