Story

The game takes place in Territory B (where the action of the second film about the Park takes place). The main character, named Anne, survives after a plane crash and finds herself on the edge of an island inhabited by dinosaurs. From this moment begins her struggle for survival. Before dusk, she must find the radio and call for help.

Gameplay

Trespasser is a survival game with maximum immersive atmosphere. The world in which Ann finds herself is enormous. The number of carried weapons is limited; you have to constantly look for new things, since the cartridges run out very quickly. It is impossible to reload a weapon The interface is minimal. The heroine counts the number of remaining cartridges out loud. Her health level is indicated by a blood-filled tattoo on her chest. There are no sights, you have to aim using the sights of the weapon itself.

The heroine’s hand acts as the main manipulator, which can be rotated as you wish. Using the physics of the game, you can pick up various objects, move them, throw them, etc. Thus, you can, for example, strike a dinosaur with a stick or throw cobblestones on his head - the methods of fighting monsters are as close as possible to reality. Ann’s susceptibility to injuries is also realistic: she easily breaks her legs, falls off a cliff, bleeds, drops her arms on the run, etc.

Dinosaurs are also realistic. They flee, having been seriously injured, conduct fraudulent maneuvers and coordinated attacks, choose the optimal prey (if a large herbivorous dinosaur grazes nearby, then predators will most likely forget about Anne and deal with it). Lizards fight each other for prey and territory, and the outcome of these battles is unpredictable - the elaborated intelligence of computer monsters affects it. More often it is necessary to apply cunning and logic, rather than brute force and accuracy of shooting. This is one of the few games where you need to rely on hearing. Often the approach of a dinosaur is given only by his steps or a quiet growl.

Despite the linearity, the game can be played in different ways depending on the skill of the player. For example, instead of finding keys for electronic locks, you can drag garbage to an impenetrable fence and cross an obstacle.

Throughout the game, the player encounters many references to the films and books of the series, many facts from the history of the park are reported.

Player Hint

At the third level there is a Velociraptor suicide, on which you can throw a jeep off a cliff. In a similar jeep, at the penultimate, seventh level, you can go off the cliff yourself, though with a fatal outcome.

On the third level, you can find a stone with a message that Steven Spielberg left to the players.

  • Velociraptor (3 types)
  • Brachiosaurus
  • Hadrosaurus
  • Stegosaurus
  • Triceratops
  • Albertosaurus
