Köl ( English Ceol , died in 597 ) is the king of Wessex (591-597), Kevlin’s nephew.

Biography
Köl seized the throne of Wessex , overthrowing his uncle Kevlin. The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle refers to the year 591 or 592 as the beginning of Köhl's reign, although Kevlin was still alive at that time. It is possible that under the aging king there was a struggle for supreme power.
Köl ruled for six years, but no details of his reign are unknown.
