Company History
In 1931, Energosbyt appeared as an independent self-supporting enterprise as part of the trust of the Moscow Association of State Power Stations (MOGES). At that time, about 150 thousand subscribers were connected to the Moscow power system.
By 1940, Energosbyt served 218 thousand subscribers.
In 1959, Energosbyt organized a workshop for the repair of electricity meters.
In 1980, Energosbyt was renamed Energonadzor.
In 1993, Energonadzor-Mosenergo became a branch of Mosenergo, an energy and electrification company; In 1996, it was renamed Energosbyt, a branch of Mosenergo.
As an independent company, it arose in 2005 in connection with the reorganization of Mosenergo.
On March 1, 2013, the millionth user was registered in the personal account of Mosenergosbyt.
In 2015, Mosenergosbyt supplied its customers with the first 500 kilowatt-hours of solar electricity.
Since July 2017, the company switched to receiving meter readings exclusively through automated remote channels, excluding Contact Center operators from this process [4] .
In 2018, Mosenergosbyt began the transition to electronic document management with consumer legal entities [5] . The first “green” free bilateral agreement was concluded in Russia (an agreement on the supply of electric energy produced on the basis of renewable energy sources for the consumer of Mosenergosbyt JSC).
Company Clients
Mosenergosbyt JSC is the assignee of Mosenergo OJSC in relation to energy supply contracts. The company supplies electric energy to more than 315 thousand objects of enterprises of organizations in 49 regions of the Russian Federation, more than 7.5 million household consumers in Moscow and the Moscow Region are also serviced [6] .

In Moscow, JSC Mosenergosbyt sells 94.3% of the electricity, in the Moscow region - 85.7%. According to the results of 2018, the market share of the Russian Federation is 8.2%.
