Biography
Came from the clan d'Omonov . He served in the service of six kings, from Francis I to Henry IV .
During the Religious Wars in France, he fought on the side of the Catholics and distinguished himself in the battles of Dreux (December 19, 1562), Saint-Denis (1567) and Montcontour (October 3, 1569).
After the death of Henry III, he was one of the first to recognize Henry IV as king, whom he served as faithfully as his predecessors.
He took part in the battles of Ark and Ivry (March 14, 1590). Died of a wound received during the siege of Comper in Brittany .
