Geographical position

The village is located 12 km from Sarapul and 52 km from Izhevsk , on the Yaromaska river.

History

Since 1844, residents of the Devyatov (Sturm) repair were listed as parishioners of the Cosmo-Damian church in the village of Babino [2] . According to the results of the tenth revision of 1859, in the 67 yards of the state-owned village Devyatovo of Sarapulsky district , 249 men and 283 women lived in the village of Yaromask, there was a chapel in the village and 3 mills worked [3] .

In 1924, the village Devyatovo was part of the Yaromassky Village Council of the Sarapulsky District , in 1965 the Yaromasky Village Council was renamed the Dulesovsky Village Council [4] . And in 1990, an independent Devyatovsky village council [5] was formed , which in 2005 was transformed into a municipality and endowed with the status of a rural settlement [6] .
