The Prudential Center is a sports complex in Newark in the USA , opened in 2007. Also known as the "Rock". The complex itself was designed by Populous (formerly HOK Sport), and its exterior design by Morris Adjmi Architects. The sports arena is home to the New Jersey Devils ( NHL ) hockey team and two teams from the National University Sports Association . Fans and sports journalists affectionately call the Prudential Center “The Rock” [1] because of the logo of the Prudential Financial company, which owns the rights to the name of the arena and whose headquarters are nearby.

Events
The Prudential Center hosts a large number of concerts by artists such as Bon Jovi , Britney Spears , The Eagles , Hannah Montana / Miley Cyrus , Spice Girls , Jonas Brothers , Metro Station , Alisha Keyes , Demi Lovato , David Archuleta , BTS .
On October 4, 2009, the arena hosted the WWE show “Hell in a Cell,” the first ever WWE show in Newark [2] .
