History

OJSC Belarusian Potash Company (BPC) was established in Belarus in September 2013 [1] . Previously, the company of the same name was created in the form of a closed joint-stock company in 2005; the founders were Uralkali PJSC (50%), Belaruskali OJSC (45%) and the Belarusian Railways state association (5%). After the conflict over the sales and company management strategy in 2013, the joint supply of Belarusian and Russian potassium chloride through BKK CJSC was discontinued. In 2018, the Economic Court of Minsk initiated bankruptcy proceedings [2] of the Belarusian Potash Company CJSC under the lawsuit Belaruskali.

Currently, the company’s shareholders are Belaruskali OJSC, Belorusskaya Zheleznaya Railway, and RUE Beleximgarant.

Trading operations of BPC are managed by the head office, which is located in Minsk , with the assistance of six representative offices of the company abroad. The company has regional offices in New Delhi , Beijing and Singapore , and it is planned to open a representative office in Sao Paulo .

Products

BPC exports potash fertilizers to Europe, India, China, Central and South America, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.

BKK offers the following products:

  • standard potassium chloride (white and pink),
  • granular potassium chloride (white and pink),
  • technical (K 2 O content not less than 62%) and agricultural varieties (K 2 O content not less than 60%). [3]
