Supercapitalism

Decadent capitalism , or supercapitalism, is a term with several meanings.

Concept developed in Italian fascism

In 1933, Benito Mussolini announced what he called “supercapitalism” [1] . Mussolini argued that current capitalism has outgrown the static form. He also argued that capitalism began with dynamic or heroic capitalism (1830–1870), then passed into a static form (1870–1914), and then reached its final development, known as supercapitalism, which began in 1914. [2]

Mussolini considered the socialist system a state of supercapitalism. [3] According to Mussolini, there are four types of state intervention, the first was common in liberal states, was most widely used in the construction of supercapitalism, in most cases the interventions are disorganized and sporadic. The second type was used in the communist and supercapitalist states. The third type was used in America ; he considers this a combination of the first two intervention systems.

Mussolini argued that Italian fascism was in favor of dynamic and heroic capitalism for its great contribution to industrialization and technological progress, but noted that this was incompatible with supercapitalism and agriculture in Italy . [4] Mussolini, criticizing supercapitalism, said:

At this stage, supercapitalism finds its inspiration and its rationale in utopia: Utopia of unlimited consumption. Perfect supercapitalism is the standardization of human life from the cradle to the grave. Supercapitalism wants all children to be born of exactly the same length, so that the cradles can be standardized, and all children can be persuaded as toys. He wants all people to don the same form, to read the same book, to have the same tastes in the cinema, and not to desire the same so-called reduce labor costs. This is not the result of a whim. It is inherent in the logic of events, because only in this way can supercapitalism carry out its plans.

Capitalism with a fully robotic economy

Also called supercapitalism is capitalism with a fully robotic economy, in whose economy the share of capital in income tends to 100% and the share of wages to 0% [5] .
