Emesene , an open source instant messenger , is a free clone of Windows Live Messenger . The goal of the client is to create an identical Windows Live Messenger client, also inherit all its functions, and create an easier and more intuitive interface to use.

Development
The client is written in Python , GTK + , PyGTK , Pycairo and is a cross-platform software . Emesene is available for any platform, including Microsoft Windows , Mac OS X, and Linux .
