The flag was approved on April 11, 2006 and entered into the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with the assignment of registration number 2389.
The flag of the municipality of the rural settlement of Astapovskoye of the Lukhovitsky municipal district of the Moscow region is made on the basis of the emblem of the rural settlement of Astapovskoe according to the rules and corresponding traditions of vexillology and reflects the historical, cultural, socio-economic, national and other local traditions.
Description
“The flag of the rural settlement Astapovskoye is a rectangular panel with a width-to-length ratio of 2: 3, divided by a red triangle pointing upwards, on the two upper sides bordered by a yellow stripe, into equal blue and green parts. Horizontally, the cloth is crossed by a white wavy strip of width 3/20 of the width of the cloth, carrying three eight-pointed stars — blue, red, and green. The distance from the lowest point of the strip to the lower edge of the flag 2/9 of the width of the cloth. The width of the base of the triangle with a border is 1/2 the length of the cloth, the width of the border is 2/27 of the length of the cloth. "
Symbolization Justification
The yellow strip is similar to the rafters of the settlement's coat of arms — it indicates the territorial affiliation of the settlement to the Lukhovitsky District, and the three fields into which the shield is divided symbolize the territories of the three largest settlements of this settlement: the village of Astapovo , the village of Gorodna and Matyra .
The silver wavy strip symbolizes the Oka River and its tributaries flowing through the territory of the settlement. The silver and yellow stripes symbolically form the letter “A”, the initial letter of the name of the rural settlement.
Three stars symbolize the centers of the three main territories of the settlement.
