The former administrative center of the rural settlement Bolsheonsky village council that was abolished in 2009.
Content
Geography
Located 130 km south of the district center - the village of Tashtyp . The village is located on the banks of the Bolshoy On River , in a mountainous area (1.5 km above sea level), not far from the Abakan-Ak-Dovurak highway. Distance to the nearest train station stations in the city of Abaz - 100 km.
History
The village was founded in 1948 . The population was made up of the so-called special settlers - exiled Lithuanians , western Ukrainians . They rafted the forest along the river, and in the 1960s they worked on the construction of the Abakan-Ak-Dovurak highway. During the period of greatest development, the village had a canteen, a hotel, a school, and a feldsher-midwife station. Currently, there is the Bolsheonsk forestry, a weather station, and the Snezhniy Bars camp site.
The Law of the Republic of Khakassia dated October 19, 2009 No. 98-ЗРХ “On the Abolition of the Municipal Formation of the Bolsheonsky Village Council and on Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Khakassia on the Approval of the Borders of Municipalities of the Tashtypsky District and Granting them respectively the Status of a Municipal District, Rural Settlement” ”adopted by the Supreme Council Republic of Khakassia on September 30, 2009 [2] all villages of the Bolsheonsky village council became part of the municipality of Tashtyp district as an inter-settlement territory.

Population (2004) - 35 people, including Khakass , Ukrainians, Russians.
For 2018, the village practically does not exist (there are several temporary buildings for hunters).
